The Opera District is located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, just off Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. The area covers 9 hectares and the height of the 8 towers in the district combined adds up to 2.1 km. One of the main benefits of the Opera District is that it is surrounded by Downtown Dubai. This means that it is surrounded by lakes, fountains and an area with world-famous landmarks such as the Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountains.

Dubai Opera is a unique venue for performing arts and entertainment, which has the ability to transform its proscenium arch theatre into a unique banquet configuration flat floor space. The Dubai Fountain is set on the 12 hectares (30 acres) man-made Burj Khalifa Lake. It is  275 m (902 ft) long and shooting water up to 500 ft (152.4 m) into the air.
