Jumeirah Golf Estates consists of 16 unique communities that overlook the 2 golf courses Earth and Fire. The Earth side covers 606 villas dotted around 6 communities, which are inspired by Mediterranean architecture. The remaining 438 villas can be found in the 7 communities that are placed around the Fire golf course. This part got its inspiration from the desert and the matching colors that can be found there. The villas in the area have 3-6 bedrooms and each unit has its own individual garden. The Al Andalus enclave also offers apartments and townhouses, situated on a gorgeous hill. Although many parts of JGE have already been completed some time ago, there are still new developments going on, giving homebuyers and investors the opportunity to buy new off-plan projects in JGE.
Public transport is absent in the area with the closest metro station taking 25 minutes by car and the nearest bus stop being in Dubai Production City. However, the large majority of people residing in JGE owns a vehicle of some kind and with easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road, you can easily get to any part of Dubai. Every villa comes with a parking garage while there is also ample opportunity to park your car on the streets. Visitors of JGE can also park their car in the parking of the country club.

As there is only one supermarket, you will most likely have to leave the territory for your grocery shopping. At the main clubhouse, there are bar and dining options but if you are looking for something fancier you will have to go to one of the neighboring districts such as Dubai Studio City, Dubai Production Cit or Dubai Sports City. You will probably also end up here when you need medical care or a school for your offspring. The lack of amenities might be frustrating at times but it also adds to the peaceful setting of the JGE area.
