A brainchild of master developer Nakheel, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is one of the most family-friendly districts in Dubai. Centrally located in the heart of New Dubai, JVC is surrounded by green gardens and no less than 30 landscaped parks. For the last few years, JVC has been one of the most popular areas in Dubai due to its abundance of amenities in the area, such as restaurants and supermarkets. On top of that, there is a wide range of schools available, adding to the family-friendly character of the neighborhood. Another great benefactor to the popularity of the JVC area is the affordability of real estate here. More than 2.000 housing units can be found on the JVC territory, divided into smaller villages that are connected by parks and canals. The units are a mix of apartments, townhouses, and villas that are finished with calm and soothing colors. Most apartment buildings have their own gym, grocery store, swimming pool, and launderette. It is the ideal area for families with children as you get more bang for your buck when buying or renting accommodation here. There is also a wide availability of off-plan projects, making it popular with both investors and home-buyers.
Due to its central location, it is easy to get to popular areas such as Dubai Marina and JLT, whether that is for work or for leisure. JVC does not have many traffic problems and parking generally is a breeze. Public transport in the district comes in the form of buses while taxis are also widely available. JVC is currently not served by the metro system but there are plans to build a station in the near future to make it even more attractive for commuters.

One of the main advantages of the JVC area is the abundance of amenities in the area. Especially the wide range of schools that are active here is rarely seen in other parts of Dubai. When looking for higher education, such as universities, you will have to travel a bit but never more than 15 minutes. The only thing that this area does not have, is its own beach. But don’t worry, the beaches of JBR and Kite Beach are never more than 30 minutes away.
Jumeirah Village Circle had a rough start as the project commenced in 2004 and therefore suffered from the economic crisis.
